"Russ  is one of the good guys in this world.  We've all met them from time to  time: that coach or teacher that just plain means well by people.  Golf  is difficult and can be very technical. But what about a technique for  relaxation and for the emotional side of the game? When you can develop  skill at that game -- the inner game -- your progress on technique will  be rapid. Russ, with his excellent golf insight and people skills, will  immediately help you get much better at both. He's got some ingenious  drills for the purpose that he can pick and suit to what he's seeing.   And he'll put you at ease so you don't feel nervous during the lesson in  any way.  Yes, I'm hitting the ball better but for me it's more  important that I've finally learned I can actually enjoy the game.  Who  woulda thunk? And, as a bonus, practicing enjoying the moment in golf  carries over very nicely into the day to day.  Thank you Russ for the  good work."

"WOW !!!! My golf lesson with Russ last week was great. After returning home the gang had our weekly outing. We played Deerfield in Newark Delaware. a very tough course. The front 9, I was struggling trying to implement the new things learned. The back 9 saw improvement. I parred a couple, a birdie and now I'm the one to beat. [Hole #] 18 tied, for the trophy, pitching wedge 88 yards, remembering my lesson, nice draw landing 6 feet from the hole. two put par. Took the trophy and then I told them about the Golf School and Russ. Great ride home."

"Results matter!  I went to Russ for a short game lesson (I was hitting great drives and following them up with chunked wedges).  He suggested I move the ball back in my stance a bit and keep my eyes focused on the front of the ball.  Wow! That sure worked. I shot 81 at TPC and didn't hit anything fat.  What an enjoyable round of golf!
    We had time to work on the full swing too and what I liked about Russ' approach is that he didn't try to force his swing style on me.  He made minor adjustments to my swing that I could easily incorporate. (How many times have you taken a lesson and the pro tries to make you do stuff that you can't do?  And you immediately revert to what you were doing and feel you just wasted time and money.)
